My food processor has died and looking to replace it. You had mentioned that you purchased a Ninja and was very pleased with it. What is your review of it now that you have used it awhile and would you make that purchase again?
I saw a Ninja 2 HP Mega Kitchen system at Sam’s with blender/food processor in one unit. I haven’t used a blender since I got my food processor and just trying to decide if that is buying something I don’t need and if I should go with just a food processor and pay less money.
Would really like your review of your Ninja if you can find the time to reply to me.

Oh – I should write about this.
Sixish months later – I still LOVE the Ninja. I just looked online and I am no expert but it looks like what I bought was the Mega Kitchen System.
First – let me say – I have only used a food processor very basically so I might not be a great comparison opinion for you. However – I have used my Ninja a TON and can offer lots of opinions about it. I literally use it almost every day. It sits right on the counter because I use it far too often to drag it out from a cupboard.
I guess it would depend on what you primarily were chopping and processing. I can’t even name all the ways I use that thing – most often chopping/dicing onions and carrots for soups – it takes about two minutes. Crushing tomatoes. Kevin makes salsa in it regularly. The kids use the tiny one for crushed ice drinks frequently – just ice and juice style. In my spaghetti sauce I use the mini one for tomatoes and onions so it is just a puree because my family prefers no chunks. I make hummus often. Nut butters – just crushed peanuts or almonds. I’ve made butter in it with fresh cream. I blend spinach up to hide it in sauces and soups too. Last week I made cheese straws – so delicious – by putting the shredded cheese and flour and spices in the Ninja.
I think it’s totally worth the money if you find yourself still cooking frequently. I do think it is pricey – but I love it and would miss it immensely if it left my house. 🙂

What a blessing. I don't know you. I found you through a post on a friend's FB post. I love your photos of the children and family. I thank you for your honest, and very real, expressions of love and life. I am a stay-home mom/homemaker who wouldn't dare homeschool (for the sake of the children) and often wonder if what I'm doing is making a difference. I have 3 children, and my husband has just this year started traveling for his company. It's been a challenge, and one that I'm so fearful of failing. Although I have dishes in the sink, clothes in the dryer and countless other tasks requiring attention, I have found a sort of peace in your blogs, and sat for about an hour reading and sharing your stories. It is wonderful to hear the real and candid love from a Christian wife and mother. Thank you for sharing! I have chosen the word KEPT. Because I know I am.
