HomeLife,  HomeSchooling

wednesday.

Today I am sleepy.

Walking about two steps behind myself.

A bit buried under the demands of homeschooling four children, maintaining clean laundry for eight people, preparing meals for those same eight people.

I like my job/life.

In fact, I love it.

I just wish I slept more last night.

(And the many nights preceding last night.)

Which means today, I have no real inspiration for writing.

Nothing to share, really, except I wish someone would come to my house and clean the kitchen counters for me.

But my sweet husband did take over the breakfast and math routine this morning so I could lounge in bed for a bit longer than usual.

And, for that, I am grateful.

And now I am must go and conquer the other details of my life.  School.  Lunch.  Guests over tonight. (It’s time for Wednesday Gatherings! Hoorah!)  Cleaning.  Gathering yard sale items.  And so much more.

I will offer you, my readers, no words – but an adorable photo of two of the people I love to serve with my days.

I shall come and wipe down your counters in a couple of days. Perhaps we can laugh ourselves out of a rut and enjoy nature to fill our souls. Can't wait to see you!

I can so relate friend. I've had the same kind of day. It's pretty bad when your kids ask you to get up from a nap to come teach them school. Yeah, that was this morning. I feel your pain, I dislike my kitchen counters at the moment too. Wouldn't it be cool if we could just pause everything and take off for a few days? No sitters, no time passing, no missing out on their moments, just everything paused so that we could sleep and sit in silence-for a brief moment.
