Four people in my house have had or do currently have the flu this week.

Six of us live here.

Those odds are not in my favor.

Well – the shipwreck t-shirt arrived.

I wore it.

And here are my thoughts ….

The quote still amuses me, whether every human on social media has seen it too many times or not.

The material of the shirt is not quite the same super soft material of most t-shirts we buy these days. It’s a little less stretchy. But it’s not bad.

The shape of the t-shirt in the photo looks long and lean, which is why I ordered a medium.

Instead, the shirt that arrived was more boxy than long, but still nothing close to a cropped length. The medium was definitely the correct choice.

Even the collar looks a little different in person than the collar in the photo. Less soft, more stiff.

Conclusion: I like it. I’m glad I bought it. It’s not the highest quality, but it’s cute. If I had seen it in person first and felt the material, I might’ve hesitated. For $10 I would have purchased it anyway. At $25 I would not have.

I had to fix the brakes on my car today.

The amount due was almost exactly the same amount of a deposit I received today from one of my clients at work.
