Sometimes I like to watch a silly show that makes me laugh.  Remember for a while I was stuck on Kimmie Schmidt?

Now it’s a show called Single Parents.

It is nothing like any single parenting I have ever actually experienced.  But.  Every now and again it almost sort of is.

Better than that though, it’s just funny.

Last week (I think) I asked if any of you had ever clicked on a Facebook ad and ordered clothing through that link.  Especially one called Shein.

I did click on that ad myself.

The sweaters came in last week and I feel perfectly neutral about their quality.

I do not like dislike them.  I have no plans on returning the items.  (Although this may be in part because I loathe the process of returning anything.  Loathe it.  I cannot explain why.  It is tiresome to me – like waiting in line and sitting in traffic and going to the courthouse or DMV or any government building for anything.  Like being on hold on the phone, like filling out multiple forms of paperwork at the doctor’s office, like committee meetings and hand washing all the dishes.)

Anyway.  The clothing is fine and the price was very good, but the quality of the material for each item is ….. just okay.  Not stellar.  Can’t imagine any of the items I purchased will last through multiple winters.  I won’t be ordering from them again.

The actual item is not so rich nor luxurious looking in real life.

Also, Piper says it looks like Little Red Riding Hood, and I’ll admit it looks like a cape or maybe even a costume but the actual truth is – I don’t care.  I like it.  And I am one hundred percent learning to wear what I want to wear.  To put on what makes me happy and to dress for myself. I’m not advocating inappropriate clothing choices – obviously.  But I am absolutely encouraging you to wear what you like to wear.  What makes you feel good and textures that you enjoy and whatever you want.  Styles are too shifting to let them dictate what you like to wear.

Turns out I’ve got nothing here this week.  It has not been a very flavorful week.  I ate random bits of my kids Halloween candy and I don’t even really like candy all that much.  That’s lame.

London has been drawing on her hand lately.  It feels so …. teen.

But her art makes me think I should have her design my next tattoo. (You didn’t read that, Dad.)
