A Grove Giveaway, A Question About Dish Soap (is there a correct way to apply it to a sponge?), and a Cute Red Caddy

It’s Saturday and that’s not a day I traditionally post.

But then I received a reminder from Grove* that it’s a giant giveaway weekend and it ends on Tuesday and that just doesn’t seem like enough time to make a decision so here I am, making a Saturday post.

Plus, it’s a REALLY good one with the absolute best scents so if you have never ordered Grove before, this is FOR SURE the time to do it.  (These make such great gifts too – and, even though it pains me terribly to admit it, it is practically ’tis the season.)  Even though I am one hundred percent for waiting until after Thanksgiving to truly embrace the Christmas season, I definitely shop earlier than that because …. well, because dollar bills, you know.

Anyway – Grove is great and it’s convenient and if you’ve been around here long you already know all the things I love about it.

*Here’s what you get this go round ….

    • Mrs. Meyer’s Holiday dish soap
    • Mrs. Meyer’s Holiday hand soap
    • Mrs. Meyer’s Holiday multi-surface spray
    • Grove Collaborative red caddy
    • Grove Collaborative walnut scrubber sponges

You get ALL of that if it’s your first time ordering and if you spend $20.  *So – all the the above items are totally and for real free, and you just have to spend $20 to receive them for free.  (And Grove just released some pet care products – so that’s fun.)  If you feel like going crazy, order $39 or more of Grove products (which actually isn’t all that crazy) and you’ll also get a free Grove stoneware tray.  I love mine – it sits beside my kitchen sink and keeps the dish and hand soap looking tidy and the counter from getting drips all over it.  I have one in the bathroom too!

You guys – that red bucket!  It’s so cute!  You could use that as a gift too – although I love to keep all the red things so parting with a red caddy will be hard for me.

If you are already a Grove member, go ahead and *click through right here* and get your free scrubber sponges.  (It helps you.  It helps me and free is still free – am I right?)

Also – side note here.  See the way the model in the photo is pouring the dish soap on to the sponge?  What do we think of that?  Let’s take a quick survey – can we?

I have forever poured my dish soap directly on to the dish I am washing.  Recently a friend said, “What are you doing?  This is the right way to wash a dish.”  Then proceeded to put the dish soap directly on the sponge – like in this photo. Then my daughter said, “Yes, that is also how I wash dishes.”

Because I want to be progressive and capable of change and learning, I have been trying this new method.  And I won’t tell you my opinion until you tell me yours.  (I know you can hardly wait for my big reveal.) But for real – how do you wash your dishes?

The scents that are available during the holidays are my favorites – all three of them.  Peppermint.  Iowa Pine.  Orange Clove.

I stock up on that Iowa Pine because it is only available for a limited time and it just makes me so happy.  And with a puppy in the house, good smells are a must.  As in – why is it so hard for a puppy to remember to pee OUTSIDE, for the love?

Go ahead and become a fan.  You sign up for Hulu and Shipt, for Netflix and the app from Chick-fil-a.  This one brings you good tidings to your door step, saves you time and money and – this week – you get lots of FREE cleaning products.  It’s a win for sure all round.

Order right here!

Which scent is your favorite?
