We’ve eaten pretty well during this quarantine. But I kind of feel like ALL we have done is eat. The kitchen stays steadily messy. Tonight we had fish and chips on the deck.

We cheated on the fish and used basically fish nuggets from Trader Joe’s – but they were delicious. And easy. We made homemade fries and I tried to add in fruits and veggies to the mostly brown dinner.

During this time I have really been reminded of the healing nature of ….. nature.

I’m so thankful for sunshine when we need it. Rainy days when we need them. Bright flowers. Beautiful sunsets.

Mosely had a school assignment to write a letter to someone in a nursing home.

She was steadily working for quite a long time before she held this out to me to see what I thought.

And I just loved it.

On so many levels.
