Five Finds Friday (jewelry, ridiculous emails & oranges)
It’s Friday – hooray! This weekend I have a fun date with my younger son and the kids have some teenage events happening and it’s a funny mix of a house we live in lately, floating between grown and not.
funny
Lately I get more and more emails like this:
They’re so ludicrous they make me laugh.
Surprisingly, this guy is really a hidden gem!
This is no joke.
Except.
It is.
fashionable
I think I’m going to do a Noonday online trunk show in February – because they have so much new pretty stuff.
So save your pennies and don’t order any Noonday stuff until February – alright?
Because look at these earrings …..
And this bracelet.
Don’t worry – I’ll for sure let you know when it’s happening.
flavorful
Here’s something delicious . . . .
dried oranges from Trader Joe’s.
For real – they are SO good.
faithful
Here’s a short list of what I am grateful for recently:
Good books to read.
Sons who load the dishwasher in the evening.
The hope of a new kitchen sink and a generous offer from a gentleman at my church to install said sink.
Sunshine.
Dogs who like to sleep at my feet.
A cozy home.
Generous humans.
Dear and thoughtful friends.
Surprise packages in the mail.
Laughter.

I love that my fifteen year old still very much wants me to say goodnight. To tuck her in. To sit by her bed for a little while and talk or sit quietly.
Some nights, all I do is show up. After a long day. A day with attitudes and frustrations, short tempers and quick fuses.
But, for now, that seems to be enough.
