HomeLife honestly. April 21, 2016 / I think I’m going to take the phrase “I’m just going to be honest” out of my vernacular. And then I am going to just be honest without announcing it.
Boyd April 21, 2016 at 3:50 pm I use that line once in a while but there is the risk of someone thinking “So NOW your being honest”!?
karen April 21, 2016 at 1:30 pm why do we think we need to use this phrase?! as if all the other things i say tend to not be true. wait. this makes me really think. am i honest? all the time? or as much as humanly possible?
Tab April 21, 2016 at 12:23 pm Such a great observation. Funny how we fall to expressions without considering their meaning.
Sara April 21, 2016 at 9:17 am Good plan. This post sounds as though you had been hurt by someone’s “just being honest.” I love you.
Lacey April 21, 2016 at 12:04 pm No, not really. Just heard myself overuse this phrase and decided it sounds ridiculous to my ears. 🙂
