Five Finds Friday (fourteen)
I think the weeks are passing by too quickly.
It keeps being Friday before I am ready.
This week it’s all about the photos. I just scrolled right through my recent photos and let them be my guide to this week’s Five Finds Friday.
FUNNY
This girl is funny.
She’s been adding in clever accents and witty banter and good timing with mildly snide remarks.
What can I say? Sarcasm is my love language.
(Also. This photo is stand alone funny as well.)
FASHIONABLE
It’s definitely still winter here.
But summer is a-coming and hotel pools are still an option when one is on a road trip or whatnot.
So that means swimsuits.
I love this swimsuit shirt for grown ups from Land’s End.
I like it because it’s cute of course. But I like it more because it alleviates the need for so much sunscreen if you’re on, say – day two of the beach – and you already have gotten a little too much sun.
I found it on sale at Sear’s. I think you could actually just wear it as a shirt but now that I’ve told all of your guys that it is my swimsuit cover up, I’d probably feel silly.
FLAVORFUL
I keep checking out this cookbook from the library. It’s probably time to just buy our own copy.
It’s from a real bakery in Savannah that I want to visit next time we head in that direction.
London made their Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese frosting.
It was delicious.
Ryder thought so too as he snagged the last slice this evening.
FAITHFUL
I am grateful for the people encouraging my children to love Jesus more.
Otto came home from church last week with this work of art.
It’s been one of my favorites.
(I’m also in love with the way he represents himself here. Double fisting lollipops and fish hopping out to greet him.)
FEELS
Everyone is reading at our house.
It’s a glorious thing.
Otto has been reading texts over my shoulder. Uh-oh. But I am thrilled at his progress.
It was rawther cute and funny when I found him asleep with his reading book all open at his head.

I felt bad copying it from the cookbook for the blog – but I’ll send it to you.

That’s a cool picture of the Red Velvet cake on the open shelving with the mixing bowls above! It could go under fashionable in my book.
And it does look delicious!

Yes – definitely my preferred fashion for sure.
I think the cabinets make lots of things look pretty!
