a smattering of thoughts for a Friday morning
It’s solidly June and I’m so grateful we haven’t suffered from many staggeringly hot days thus far.
I’ve misplaced my entire collection of bobby pins. They are stored in an Altoids tin. Let me know if you see them anywhere.
The giant four hundred plus pages of Mansfield Park by Jane Austen is now finished. Phew.
We’ve dragged out our bean bag toss game (also known by some as corn hole) and Kevin and I have been enjoying after dinner games. It’s stiff competition. Two days ago – I won!
Radishes are growing like wild in our little raised bed.
We discovered mimosa on the edge of our driveway. The leaves play a really cool trick when you touch them.
Our local strawberry field finishes their strawberry season today. It was so good while it lasted.
Our sad little lemon of car officially died this week. It was a terrible vehicle. But its loss is still felt at our house as three people vie for one vehicle.
The kittens are growing like crazy cakes. (Anyone want to lay claim to one of the cuties?)
Happy Friday!

You know what I did after losing all my bobby pins?! Well, after buying more, I got one of those magnetic knife strip things for the kitchen and attached it to the side of my medicine cabinet. I take them out and stick them to the magnetic every night and they're all present and accounted for! I highly recommend this method.
