your vote counts. or other such political rhetoric.
Kevin likes coffee.
We both like local businesses.
Our town has a great little coffee shop in the emerging downtown area. And that great little coffee house held a contest recently.
People were invited to submit ideas and the winner’s artwork would become a t-shirt.
Well, Kevin likes coffee and our children like art.
Piper Finn, London and Bergen all decided to enter the contest.
They sent off their masterpieces.
And time passed.
Then, the top five entries were chosen by The Forest staff.
And one of those possible winning entries was created by our little man -Bergen Hawkeye.
All five entries are featured on The Forest Facebook page. The entry with the most votes wins.
The competition ends with the month of March. (That’s this week already. What in the world??)
I debated mentioning this on the blog.
And I’ve almost waited too late.
But this is what I’ve decided.
I’m not asking you to vote for my son’s t-shirt design. (Not that I think that’s actually wrong.)
I’m just encouraging you to visit the Facebook page and vote for YOUR favorite design – whichever one that might be.
Truly, they’re all pretty fantastic and I think each of them would be a fun and marketable t-shirt.
In all honesty, I voted for more than one. (Because, as it turns out in a small town, three of the other designs were created by friends of ours.)
So, if you have the time and the inclination, click on over and cast your vote for the t-shirt design of your choice.
(You just follow the link and “like” the photo of your favorite t-shirt design. As simple as that.)
I promise not to check to see where you cast your vote.
